About us

We are Newbury Pride a charity registered in the UK, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in and around Newbury. We work closely with other charities and support organisations and in contact with the local authorities to put on a major annual Pride event consisting of a market for mostly local producers. This event also includes a full programme of entertainment as well as a protest march through the centre of the town.

Throughout the year we also organise smaller events on a regular or ad hoc basis. These might be social gatherings at a local pub or at a coffee shop or café. It might be something a little more outrageous such as a drag bingo. But, perhaps most importantly of all, we work with other groups and organisations in the area to provide education and information resources for the community as a whole.
